Loading Tally Prime Application: Step-by-Step Notes

1. Download Tally Prime Setup

• Go to the official Tally Solutions website.

• Click on the “Download” button for Tally Prime.

• The setup file setup.exe will be saved in your Downloads folder.

2. Install Tally Prime

• Double-click the setup.exe file.

• The Install Application window will appear. Click on “Install” or press the I key.

• For custom installation, click “Configure” to change the application path or other settings.

• Wait for the installation to finish, then click “Start TallyPrime.”

3. Activate License (for new users)

• If you’re a new user, choose “Activate New License.”

• Enter your Serial Number, Activation Key, and Email ID.

4. Open and Load Company in Tally Prime

• On first launch, click “Create Company” if you haven’t made one yet.

• To load an existing company:

  • Press Alt+F3 (Select Company) or go to the Company selection menu.

  • Select your company from the list or browse to its data path and open it.

• For automatic loading, go to F1 (Help) > Settings > Startup, set “Load companies on startup” to Yes, and select companies to load by default.

5. Start Using Tally Prime

• Dashboard will appear showing company and shortcut features.

• You can now use all accounting, inventory, banking, GST, and reporting features.

1. टैली प्राइम डाउनलोड करें
